5. Problem unsolved
After the project implementation, almost all the students began to enjoy doing reading comprehension and most of them had no difficulty to deal with many new words whenever they encounter some. But there were still come unsolved problem left. I’d problem left. I’m afraid these problems will soon become our new worries if they are not solved well in time. The problems are listed as the following:
Firstly, the way of learning: Since most of the students had greatly improved their ability of shoveling problems of new words in doing reading comprehension, whether they would stick on doing this after class was a big problem. Only when I make continuous training in my teaching, can my students make greater progress. If the students couldn’t continue to practise doing this by themselves, they would soon become weak in these problems again and their ability could not be improved further, either.
Secondly, the way of teaching: I should provide more interesting and effective reading materials. Now there are a lot of reading materials which fit for different levels of the English learner. But the students don’t know how to choose from them. They need the teachers’ help in this aspect.
Thirdly, students’ English level: The more the students have learned, the more effectively the students can overcome the unknown words. Only the students learn English quite well, can they collect enough experience and skill to solve the unknown words problems. To improve the students’ level of some other skills of learning English is also necessary.
