I. Brief statements Based on the Lesson(教学内容)
本单元的三个话题紧紧围绕当今世界的环境、科技和文化这三大主题展开。本课在这个单元是第一部份的第一课。通过学习描述和谈论喜欢爱的动物植物,形容词比较级和最高级的运用是重点语法顶目。以前学了许多动物的词汇,在本课中可以用以进行比较。由于本课是这个单元第一个话题的第一课,本着由浅入深的学习规律,我先复习了动物的词汇,用游戏的方式来巩固这些词汇,然后再引入比较级。课文中的1a在学生还没学习比较级时已出现了比较级,所以我在这课中先不上1a,而是把后面的一个听力内容当对话来上,重点突出比较级的用法。
II. An analysis of the teaching material (教材分析)
1、Status and function (地位和功能)
本单元的三个话题紧紧围绕当今世界的环境、科技和文化这三大主题展开。本课在这个单元是第一部份的第一课。通过学习描述和谈论喜欢爱的动物植物,形容词比较级和最高级的运用是重点语法顶目。以前学了许多动物的词汇,在本课中可以用以进行比较。
2、 Teaching aims(教学目标)
a、Target language knowledge objectives (语言知识目标)
1、复习以及掌握所学的相关的动物词汇;
2、掌握形容词比较级和最高级的变化规则及用法;
3、谈论自己喜欢爱的动物。
b 、Target language competence objectives(语言技能目标)
1.通过操练与课文中的活动以及完成与课本有关的任务,提高语言表达能力。
2.在口语练习中,提高学生自我表达水平并让学生投入到说的活动中。
c、Moral objectives(情感态度目标)
1、从情感态试上要培养学生热爱动植物,保护自然环境的意识。
2、在教学的过程中,让学生充分体验成功,并对外语的学习充满自信从而产生兴趣。
d、Cultural-awareness objectives(文化意识目标)
让学生了解动物;鼓励学生开口说自己喜欢的动物。让更多的学生喜欢上动物,爱护动物与自然环境。

初二的学生学习方面积极性和自制力都不太高,怕吃苦,惰性强,效率低。对于自己的学习情况不能做出客观的分析,对成绩感到自卑,有的学生有厌学情绪;但初二学已具备一定的听说能力,只是口头表达能力差些。 |

初二的学生课堂上听课率低,部份学生听课很认真,部分学生不听课,两级分化明显。 |

Step 1 Lead-in & Presentation (第一步:导入与单词呈现)
(Show a video about the ostrich.)
T: First, let’s enjoy a video. Is it cool? Do you like it (the ostrich)? It’s so funny and brave. As we know, animals are our friends. They are helpful and they bring us happiness. Do you like animals? Let’s study the words about animals.
What’s this? / What are they?

新课导入:导入部份播放了一段驼鸟滑雪的视频,引起学生的兴趣,导出学习的主题:animals are important to us;
(设计意图:为引起学生的兴趣,也试图呈现动物与人们友好相处的画面,让学生明白今天的主题。接着呈现动物的图片,教新单词。)
Step 2 Game (第二步:游戏)
T: Let’s play a game. Look at the picture. Please name the animals one by one. But don’t repeat the word that other students had said. For example, if someone says “chicken” you can’t say “chicken” again. If you can name the animals as quickly as you can, I will give you one point for each word.
运用游戏操练与巩固所学的单词;
(设计意图:为操练与巩固刚学的单词,我设计了一个游戏,就是让学生起来轮流说动物的单词,当然所说的单词不能重复,这样,学生尽可能地说出刚学的单词,说出一个,给组上加一分。游戏即有趣味性,也有竞争性。)
Step 3 Grammar: Comparative and Superlative degrees of Adjectives
(第三步:语法;形容词的比较级)
T: Look at the picture and tell me: Is it big or small? The chicken is small, the goose is big. So we can say:
The chicken is smaller than the goose.
The goose is bigger than the chicken.
T: Is it fat or thin?
The pig is fatter than the sheep.
The sheep is thinner than the pig.
T: Are they lovely or ugly
The pandas are lovelier than the mice.
The mice are loveliest than the pandas.
T: What about these?
The first chicken is __small__.
The second one is __smaller__ than the first one.
The third one is _the smallest__ of them.
呈现比较级。比较级是本课的重点难点,所以在呈现时要由浅入深,我先呈现两种动物的图片,让学进行比较,先让学生学会形容词的比较级。
(设计意图:为学生的输出表达,按从易到难的程度设置了比较级。让学生能在直观的图片中明白比较的形式及变化。)

(设计意图:完成后第一个练习后,让学生思考比较级的变化规律。由于学生第一次接触比较级,为进一步巩固学生的学习情况,再让学生作一个练习,写出形容词的比较级,)

Michael: There are many animals on your grandma‘s farm, aren’t there?
Wang Wei: Yes, there are chickens, ducks, horses, cows, cats and dogs.
Michael: Dogs? They‘re the bravest animals on the farm, I think.
Wang Wei: You are quite right. And which animal do you like best?
Michael: Cats? I think cats are much more clever than dogs. They eat mice. They‘re very helpful.
Wang Wei: I agree with you.
2. T: Work in pair, make a conversation about the animals with your partner. For example
T: There are so many animals on the farm. Which animals do you like better, dogs, or cats? / Which animals do you like best, dogs, cats or rabbit?
S: I like … better/ best.
T: Why do you like it?
S: Because …
T: I think dogs are the bravest of them. Cats are more clever than dogs. Rabbits are more lovely than cats.

课后反思:
这节课在轻松、愉快的气氛中结束了,我有以下几点教学反思:
1、本话题让学生们学习如何用英语描述和谈论自已喜欢的动植物,形容词比较级和最高级的运用是这个话题是重点语法项目,所以要重点进行操练。
2、本人从单词的比较级开始操练,到把比较词放入句子中操练,最后是用比较级进行对话,由浅入深,让学生慢慢掌握比较级,易于学生接受。
3、本节课取得了很好的教学效果,不仅完成了教学目标,而且训练了学生运用英语的能力;如最后让学生说说自己喜欢的动物,并给出原因,大部份学生都说了自己喜欢的动物,其中还有学生说喜欢猪,因为它比别的动物可爱。让学生用英语畅所欲言。学生兴趣高了,学习积极性自然高。
4、初中教学要溶入趣味教学,让学生在轻松的氛围中学习,才会收到更好的效果。
